Qbone 3.0 Posting Contest!

EXTENDED UNTIL CHRISTMAS DAY FOR MORE MEMBERS AND MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW MEMBERS.
To celebrate the final completion of Qbone and finally getting ourselves organized we are going to hold a posting contest!
Eligibilitiy
This contest is open to all Qbone members aged 13 and over who are not in the Administrator, Banned, and not registered user groups. If you are underage your prize may be awarded in the names of your parents or guardians.
Only one account under a certain IP, household, or person may be used.
How do I sign up?
Everyone is already signed up!
Length
The contest begins today, August 21st, 2009 as soon as this gets posted and ends on Friday October 23rd, 2009 at 11:59 P.M. central time.
Winners will be announced on or before Sunday, October 25th, 2009.
Prizes
ONE (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive 2,000 Wii/DSi points to be used in the WiiWare and DSiWare shops ($20).
In addition the Grand prize winner will recieve 2,500 credits on Qbone.org.
ONE (1) First Place Prize Winner will receive a choice of Pokemon stylus for the DS/DSi ($11).
In addition the first place prize winner will recieve 1,000 credits on Qbone.org.
   
Fifteen (15) Second Place Prize Winners will each receive a commemorative signature bar and 500 credits on qbone.org.
Total values of all prizes to be awarded is $33. Winners may substitute their prize with a lower value one, but not vice-versa.
Rules
Several factors will determine the winners of this posting contest.
Part of the contest revolves around the thanks button. Users that thank other users for helpful posts will receive .25 of a point towards this contest. Users that receive thanks for their posts will get 1 point towards this contest.
Amounts of thanks received and thanks given will be hidden for the duration of this contest.
.1 point will be given for every post made from the start of this contest to the end of it.
Person with the most points in the end will win the grand prize.
Second most will win first place prize, and so on.
You can only give thanks once you have posted 10 times.
Users may only give out 5 thanks a day to ensure there is no abuse of the system and to truly give thanks to those that helped in some way.
Posts that are 30 or more days old will not be eligible to be thanked.
Any user who is suspected of using more than one account for the purpose of receiving/giving more thanks will be disqualified from this contest.
Contest scores will only be computed after the contest is up, so do not ask any staff members how you are doing, this may also lead in disqualification.
The administrator will examine all the posting histories of the winners in order to determine all points were rightfully earned.
Voting exchanges made between members will result in disqualification without any further notice.
If at any time a user is banned during the contest period, they are automatically disqualified.
Basically to better your chance of winning, you should...
-Post as much as you can
-Try to make all your posts of high quality
-Vote honestly and as much as you can.

Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Spring 2010!

The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo of America officially revealed the games Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver to fans outside of Japan today at the Pokémon World Championships.
The North American and European versions of the games are scheduled to be released this spring.
The official Pokémon website has also been updated to reflect this latest news. The site features the new Sugimori artwork of Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, the games' starter Pokémon, as well as a trailer for the games.
Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver will take players back to the region Johto and their home New Bark Town, where they will be given one of three starter Pokémon by Professor Elm to begin their journey.
The Japanese version of HeartGold and SoulSilver will be released on Sept. 12. No release dates for the Australian and South Korean versions of the games have been announced.
